Honestly the Pre-Brees years of watching Saints football has prepared me for this year. I say WHO DAT!! Who dat jumping off our wagon!! Not me. I used to go into seasons expecting a few wins, upsetting the teams that were supposed to beat us etc etc.

Now, we are the worst team in the league..we are what our record is right?
Well now we can clear all the wagon riders, we get our team back, and next year when Sean is back ....there will be no room to jump back on.

Im still going to root every week like I have the last 20 ish years, and if we only win one freakin game, it better be a game that we ruin someones playoff chances.You old timers know what im talking about!!!

I'm too young to talk about the 60's-80's I really started following them in the mid 90's. I'm a Saints fan. N.O. is my home town and that's my home team. I know nothing else but Saints football. If this ship is going down this year I'm going down with it. Who Dat!!!!!!

hmmm... little mixed metaphor here. Is it a bandwagon or a ship? Well, I'm not jumping off either one. and neither is the band. So I say, "Fire up the sousaphone and let that trumpet wail." - even if "When the Saints Go Marching In" is played at a more somber tempo. I have heard it played that way before. and if that's what I have to dance to - then dance I will.

Afterall, we are world famous for dancing at a funeral.

I'm still in just storing my gear for the rest of the season like the player have done. If they don't want to get thiers dirty why should I.

I partially agree with you; the Saints are too GOOD a team to be 0-3.

IMO, the worst team in football is the Cleveland Browns; although I doubt Vegas would give you even odds on which team gets its first win before the other!

I still think a 11-5/10-6 season is still possible for the Saints.

If you are a glass half-full fan like me, I see a Saints team that has been in every game and if not for a handful of plays could, (and should) be 3-0 right now.

The defense, believe it or not, IS making improvements each week; they created turnovers yesterday, one of which the offense converted into a TD.
They are also slowly reducing the points scored by our opponents each week: 40, 35 & 34. I know that is so thin it is damn near invisible, but if the defense had prevented ONE score by those teams, we win!

Atlanta has yet to play a division or conference game yet, so their division-leading 3-0 mark is misleading.

I highly doubt that Carolina or Washington will make it to the playoffs, so the Saints probably won't have to worry about losing the tie-breaker to those teams.

I am not willingly to throw in the towel on this season yet; hell the Patriots, Steelers & Broncos are only one game better than the Saints so far!

As the Steelers, Packers and Giants (twice) have shown, all you need to do is sneak into the playoffs and you can win a Superbowl.

They aren't playing completely horrible. It's not looking good but there is a lot more football left and who knows...we could be at 8-3 tied for 1st come November. We are keeping these games close and that's what I see. Get a win, get some confidence going. If that happens we could see something really amazing start to happen.

Still a fan but this particular team is showing zero hussle. They say they want to win but then go DO the opposite. Talk is cheap. The only people I see working their ass off is a few people on the O.

I don't feel like we're screwed because we're 0-3. I feel like the saints are screwed because they don't seem to want to get rid of that BIG BULGING ZERO in that W/L ratio. The only way you could lose to bad teams like this and go 0-3 with this kind of talent is if you're not even trying. And these guys aren't trying.

We'll have to see when Joe Vitt comes back. If he can't do anything, the seasons over. After that? Hopefully Payton turns it around, but a team that acts like this doesn't deserve to be called a team.

I told my ex-wife that the 0-3 start is her fault. Hell, it has to be. She took the entire planet in the divorce. I think she took the damn season too!

I've never been on any bandwagon. A bandwagon is what fake fans jump on, and then later jump off of. There is no such thing as staying on the bandwagon.

I'll pull for the Saints for as long as football continues to exist. It just so happens that I am disgusted with the team I pull for, right now.

I have no problem with bandwagon fans. More merchandise sales, more popularity, more prime-time games, more discussions on sports media, and all that really pisses off Falcon fans.

now thats a saints fan! im with you big dog. being a fan since the early 90's (albeit not as long as many of you) ive always been a pessimistic fan because of all the awful years, and that will never change. expecting them to lose or not, sticking by them all these years and being let down so many times is what made me cry tears of joy after we beat the vikings and the nfc championship game and after we won the super bowl. it was NEVER EVER EVER thinking i'd see the saints make it to a super bowl until i was old and grey (well, older and more grey) that made me want to tattoo the super bowl date on my wrist for me to look at in the future when they continued to disappoint me. haha.

i love the saints more than anything in the world and just like i watched every single painful game of 05 when we went 3-13, ill watch every game this year and cheer my ass off and support them no matter how bad it hurts!


p.s. my post has nothing to do w/ bandwagon fans. to each his own, i guess. while sometimes the frunt-runner fan irks me, i always love to see another saints fan, regardless of when they became a fan. seeing black and gold gives me a hard-on (ok, theoreticaly). ain't nothing like the pilgrimage on gameday to the dome!

I will watch the Saints no matter how good or how bad it gets. Even if this season turns out to be a complete stinker, I am like oh well, we have next season to look forward to. Still have 13 games of Saints entertainment to look forward to, and I plan on enjoying every minute of it. I've followed this team religiously for so long, win or lose, there is no bandwagon mentality with me for sure.
