Exactly. We're only short 1 pick and we'll be OK cap wise especially with Bushrod (2013 UFA 8 mill this season)
Will Smith (due 15 mill in 2013, ain't gonna happen)
Roman Harper (due 8 mill, will renegotiate or bye bye)
Sedrick Ellis (2013 UFA, 8 mill this season)
Malcolm Jenkins (due 4 mill, will renegotiate or bye bye)

Thats over 40 million coming off the books next season. I'd imagine we try and resign all at much lower salaries.

Sproles wouldn't bring us a first rounder, no way. However Jimmy Graham would and I'd be pissed if that happend.

Yeah I am struggling to like him more and more as the games go by. I do think Carmichael is handcuffing him though. It is common knowledge now that when Ingram is in the backfield it is a run. Hard to surprise a D when as soon as they see your face they adjust the D play.

Agreed, and I too have tried to like him. But watch his legs when he hits the line, then watch Pierre. It's like night and day. I hope he can turn it around.

We'd have to offer Colston, Henderson, or maybe Moore to land us a decent defensive player.
Exactly. I haven't been a fan of this thought mainly because I still don't think we have seen him used to his capability, but what about Ingram?

Well, just think of it this way...had we Not traded up, Goodell would have taken that pick from us.

I honestly would not care if all of them left this team.will smith is defending himself every year from a suspension it seems. Bush rod is falling off this year but doesn't deserve that kind of salary. I wouldn't even wait til the offseason to let Ellis and Jenkins go. Harper is playing out of position...he'd be a better lb than Shanle. I think we could upgrade these positions for the same price
