They got 3 wrong, if you wanna include the Brees non-safety.

The Moore and Graham reversals were correct.

I'm willing to concede every botched call in that game with the exception of Pierre's TD.

edit: [had forgotten about the safety- his body never touched the ground, and the ball was extended back over the goal line. How is it that they reason it was a safety?]

I didn't like the call on the McCluster fumble recovery, but it is what it is. The ref should've known to not blow the whistle, since the play wasn't technically over, but he did anyway and we lost an easy TD and morale boost for a flagging defense

I'm not trying to blame the ref's because they really are literally out of their league, but it doesn't change the fact that if those two plays are called the way they should've been, maybe we have a different outcome at the end of regulation.

and finally, roger goodell sucks

The whistle blowing and non holding calls need to be attended to ASAP. No whistle to protect Brees in the endzone so the man tries to make a play. He does! He gets the ball out of the endzone, a 4th grader could see he never hit the ground. Maybe not a game changer but certainly the wrong call, absolutely wrong. The real refs get that one right is how I see it.

Then they blow a whistle early on a WR that put the ball on the ground with nobody around him for no reason. The real refs also get that call right, no whistle TD. That was a huge momentum swing that could have changed the game. If they say it was to protect the WR I'm fine with that but I'm not fine with not blowing it early when Brees is virtually on his back in the endzone. There is no consistency.

Watch any game Sunday and pay attention to how long the refs let a play go before they blow the whistle!

I never heard a "phantom whistle" on the fumble... I have reviewed that play a few times.

Here is what I do not get about "give him self up" on the play.... If Dexter McCluster game him self up by fumbling, then Pierre Thomas did also in San Francisco....

Doesn't there have to be something to identify "giving up" other than the ball hitting the ground?
