Drew Brees the 26th best QB!

According to the QBR stat provided by ESPN.

Now i have never been a big supporter of the QBR, but seeing how Brees has performed this year he deserves this ranking.

Brees more than the D has been the issue. News flash, our D has always been lacking in the last 6 years. The difference this year is our offense not being able to bail them out. Some of us will say the Offense shouldn't have to bail them out and Brees shouldn't have the entire game on his shoulders, but when you get paid the big bucks you are expected to perform accordingly and Brees has yet to deliver. Step it up Brees! Your legacy is at stake!

Forcing passes all the time, he needs to make smarter decisions or he'll have similar numbers to 2010 with 22 picks

Highest PAID, though. And that's all that counts is that we HAVE him and he is paid accordingly for PAST PERFORMANCE.

Whew... So thankful we got that deal done for him.

Why is it as soon as players get the big contract they fall off the edge of the earth.

Hard to say, but we called it.

I'm happy to have Drew Brees, but I want my old Drew back.

He has also had an offensive line underperform, mainly the tackles. There has been a total of 12 dropped passes, which is another thing uncharacteristic of the Saints.

However, notice a team very similar with a quarterback struggling as well. Last seasons MVP Aaron Rodgers has looked bad as well. I think a lot of it has to do with the replacement refs messing up the tempo of fast paced teams (Saints, Patriots, Packers).

Drew has forced some bad throws, and has had his share of mistakes, but this has been a team out of sync. I wouldn't trade Drew for anyone else, and I think he and the team will get back on track.

Jesus christ its not like his line has been exactly lighting it up. We would not even be in these games if it weren't for Brees. And how about all the dropped passes? Who else do you guys suppose could do better given our present situation. How many interceptions does Eli have? You guys act like its your money that was spent on him. And the main thing as I have previously made a thread about, and was also pointed out above is the replacement refs. Brees offense is based on fast pace, quick strike, no huddle style offense in which rythem is crucial. The way these refs are slowing the game down totally knocks us off sync.

I don't know if there has ever been a study on this, but this is a trend that the fantasy football community has been aware of for awhile. I swear I thought if anyone was immune to this trend it was Drew, but once again it holds true.
