and still lost. Man. We played with fire, with heart. Just couldn't get it done. Sproles really picked a bad time to start playing bad. Not all on him, but not good Play from him today.

We are a team with talent but no direction or leadership. If anything showed today (besides our continuing inability to play consistent defense), that was it.

It all comes down to Kroemer (a position coach) getting out coached by real HCs. I'm not blaming him, it just is what it is. We have no coach.

We did. We got all the calls, had some fortunate plays and still got beat. Better team won. Drew played great. Drops, bad coaching, a mediocre defense......this is what we get. This is what we are now.

I think this game is the ""line in the sand game" for our team. I'm looking forward to see how we respond. Next week will be interesting, I hope we destroy San Diego (no offense Bolt4life).

The offense has talent but is being held back by the playcalling. The defense is lacking in talent and is playing under a scheme that doesn't fit. With Payton I truly believe they would be 3-1 at worst. When they had the chance in the offseason to bring in anybody, Parcells or Shottenheimer for example, they should have. Hindsight aided for sure. Plan B should have been to just give it to Kromer and give him full authority. The interim to the interim is a complete failure. I don't think he feels confident to tell Carmichael, Drew, or Spags his opinion. It's like a new step-parent trying to discipline a teenage child, the authority just isn't recognized. Vitt will when he comes back more than Kromer, but it will be too little too late. The Saints are truly a leaderless organization right now.

We played exactly as well as we played last year. If asked before the game would anyone be happy with preforming like the 2011 team.. nearly everyone would have said yes.

Good and bad calls go both ways. Moot point.
