I'll take my lumps- but I thought our D played better today. We still have a very very long way to go, but I thought we played better as a unit. Maybe if this season is lost our D can learn the system. I did think I saw improvement though. We ned DLINE help though, clearly

Greer and Robinson can't even cover slants

No pressure what so ever, brilliant pick by robinson, but got picked on all day and on the very next drive after his play

Coaching decision to kick the first field goal was a terrible decision considering GB had never punted at that point, what was the worst that could happen not make it and force them to drive 98 yards but if you make it Maybe the game turns out different. No blame on the players they played their hearts out and gave everything they had except for Sedric Ellis .

There were definitely some signs of life. Now if we can just generate some sort of pass rush. Rushing with 4 down lineman just wasn't working. And if we're going to continue to be stubborn and not make scheme adjustments, there needs to be a personnel one. We should have brought in some more speed with Wilson at end... I think it would have made an impact.

Man it's the line. The corners look bad because they are in coverage all day. You can have anyone at corner they are merely a reflection of the line. Spags d in New York had nothing special at corner. They were always burned until the line got pressure. Gut the line and fill it with speed. Young strong fast. After that we will have pro bowl corners. Guarantee. Revis can only cover an nfl receiver for so long.

Close game no blow out, Packers are a very good team. Actually gotta couple calls go our way. This was a game we could have won.

We are not going up with our line. Cut Ellis today. Give the keys to Hicks and I want to see what walker can do. Our line is getting in the way of our best Defensive player Lofton.

D definitely played better. But jeese louise why can't we get any pressure?! I mean ZERO!! Good lord it is so frustrating to watch our Defense, it's so bad right now!!

Our coverage is better our Dline is the same or worse because the o line we played. I mean no real hurries nothing. It is ashame for Greer, he is a Pro Bowlcorner and yet because he is in coverage all day it makes him look worse. Robinson is 100 times better than he looks. Revis couldn't cover anyone with this line. These are Nfl receivers the Dline must make the Qb hurry or a receiver will get loose.

We gave up 319 passing yards.

We gave up 102 rushing yards.

Sadly, it WAS an improvement.

Our D was playing patty cake most of the time, i seen a few times certain players were just jogging in place while the receiver catches the ball right next to them and they just stand and hope no one see's them not doing anything.
I was disgusted most of the game, defense showed some signs of a pulse but i think a lot of them just want to get their check and go home.

True our defense looked stupid and slow , but sorry, blame it on the D all you want,but what about the missed field goal, or our offense getting 4 downs on the 5 and choking. Sorry both sides of the ball are sucking.

Yeah our D isn't good but look at it this way

D allowed 21 points in first half

D allowed 7 points in second half

Sproles drops a crucial 3rd and 2 routine pass, that would have won us the game, Hartley kicks the go ahead score then misses it when it goes back 5 yards

As much as you may want to blame the D, our O has got to score more than that, passing 3 times on green bays 2 yard line and coming away with 3 points is unacceptable, our O dropped 10 passes atleast and sproles pretty much screwed us twice, the refs just didn't see one of them

Bunkley had a big play at the goal line pushing the guard backward and forcing that fumble. It nearly turned the game around for us. Now we need some of that push other than when we're backed up to the goalline!

Tackling was better at times and we seemed to hit harder. Guys were playing hard on defense, but we need more speed in our front 7. We're just a few steps too slow as it seems like Rodgers can outrun any of our front seven. Lofton can tackle but I think we miss Vilma's quickness.

Greer also had a bad game, James Jones schooled him and he just looked slow and not himself. I'm wondering if he is still not at 100%.

I think we will need to draft more defensive players. Tip - probably no need to look at any players from West Virginia or Baylor.
