Bobby: Saints had this game on a silver platter

Here's what Bobby Hebert had to say following the Saints loss to Green Bay:

Watching the game, had I been a Packers fan, I would think, "Man, the Packers were getting screwed." So I don't want to hear from anybody in the Who Dat Nation saying, "Oh, the league is out to get us." It's amazing the calls that were going against the Packers this game, and the Saints were getting the breaks this game, and we STILL didn't win. So, how frustrating is that? We win the turnover battle, we're plus 2…Man, you've got to win those types of games!

"Now, Malcolm Jenkins, the bottom line is, he's not a play-maker. Him and Roman Harper, they can make plays at times, but now they've gone 22 games, and they still don't have an interception. They need to donate like $1,000 a game to their favorite charity until they get an interception! They need SOME kind of motivation."

That's actually pretty funny, and not a bad idea.

Well he isn't wrong

Yeah all the calls went our way but it was the lack of execution at the end that screwed us

Sproles dropped the crucial 3rd and 4 pass for a 1st down which he's probably caught hundreds of times, Spin it anyway you want

At the end, we beat ourselves, sproles drop and then hartleys "kick"

Sproles catches that and we win the game, nothing we can do now except get better and demolish the chargers

Headline should read "Bobby Hebert, with a life time Win average of 54%, and life time completion average of 58%; tells the New Orleans Saints what kind of games they should win".

I'm sort of getting annoyed with hearing how bad Malcolm Jenkins and Roman Harper are. The opposing quarterbacks literally have all time to throw the ball. There are very few opportunities to make big plays because our pass rush is so horrible, and quite frankly I feel like they've done rather well despite the circumstances.

A lot of what I see is lack of real planning. Same plays on offense, over and over again. The defense is generic. It's not that they are that bad it's the calls at the line. It's time to take whatever formulas they are using and S!@# can it. Take some risk. I said this last week and look what happened to us, GB pulls a fake. That was huge and led to a TD.

That should be us. Double reverse, flee flicker..show zone and bring everybody just for the hell of it. It's time to get out of cruise control because that's how teams are beating us.

The Saints should have put 11 on the line and dared GB to go for it!

They may have gotten a TD instead of 5 yds, but it would have saved more time for the Saints offense!

Oh yeah it was on a silver platter. We did have this game. But our defense couldn't carry the Silver Platter.

How many plays did we have inside the 5, hell, inside the 1 and we had to kick a FG? That was pathetic.
