Saints'' McAllister predicts great things for himself, team

METAIRIE - They are statements that, if they had come out of many other players' mouths, would be considered arrogant and cocky.

It's a surprise to hear them from Deuce McAllister, the New Orleans Saints' bell cow and the face of the entire franchise - a face that spends most of its time brushing compliments aside and deflecting credit to his teammates.

"Before I'm done with this game, I'll dominate," McAllister said during the first week of training camp. "I'm not where I want to be now, but I'm well on my way. I may not have been in my rookie year or my second year, but I'm well on my way to being able to dominate this game."

I\'m glad to see Deuce and Brooks speaking out this season. Even if we don\'t do all they say we will do, it\'s going to be a good year. I still think the playoffs are for sure and I actually think no team can stop us from getting to the NFC Championship this year. It all depends the Eagles defense, if we are to go to the Superbowl and I think they will be average at best. So, what do you think?
