What made the diff tonight was galette and Wilson. These guys worth more than anyone on the defense.

Great time for our Bye.

Go out on a high note, take a week to shore up some fixable issues and come back with what should be a tough but winnable game against the Bucs.

I just wish we were going to have Vitt (or Payton, of course) to guide us on our week off.

I'll be honest with you, had we not won this one, we would have had to call the Riot Act after this game, and then no one would want to join in and talk.

We have something to talk about and this is MUCH better than the alternative.

I agree, I felt hope after last weeks loss because we looked like "the Saints" - like the team we all know.

Except for the first 5 minutes of tonight's 3rd quarter, we looked like that same team from last week but improved. In the 4th quarter it all came together.

....and Fartley made his important kick that I almost had a heart-attack he would miss....
