When you got a fresh stable of horses - you keep your horses fresh by not running them into the ground one by one...

Well if you don't let the horses run they get tired and weak. I don't think he's ever gotton 20 touches a game. What I do know is that he is a playmaker and you feed your playmakers.

How do all of those other teams that have two backs manage to keep them fresh?

Can anyone list 32 running backs in the league with over 6 years experience that are work horses for their team and GOOD at it?

Not every team gets a Jackson/Foster (injured a bit)/Peterson/Gore...

You also cant workhorse the screen 20 times a game.. Thats where PT shines.

I love when PT and Sproles are both in the game at the same time. Last night the Chargers commited to stopping Sproles. Put PT in at the same time and it opens up. Kept putting Sproles wide, pulls one out of the box, opens for PT.

I think they're just trying to keep him fresh (and healthy) but I agree with the premise that he needs to be getting the lion's share of the carries. I like Sproles a lot, but he obviously wasn't getting it done early yesterday. I'd rather see Sproles sprinkled in throughout the game.

I agree fully. MI has been MIA. I think they should put him on inactive and bring up the bull. We need a shot in the running game.

PT23 is the man without a doubt. He can do things that no one else on our team(and most other teams) can do.

Mark Ingram - 15 carries, 38 yards, 2.53 yards per carry
Pierre Thomas 24 carries, 55 yards, 2.29 yards per carry

Maybe its not the RB thats the problem.
