Players who use the mullet to tackle should be made to wear a mullet when they get their hair cut. This might force them to think when tackling.

Leading with the helmet is a common practice. Watch any play that has a two or more defenders. The first "attempts" a tackle while the others "follow up" and lead with the helmet. The personal foul against Brees is a great example. ( The biggest play of the game, SD would have been up by 17 but it seemed to piss off the Saints and it cost them) There was one in the Indy game. The running back was brought down and the second guy came in head first and butted the RB while he was on the ground. You see this at all levels. Watch any college game.

I always thought it was Mike McKenzie who invented the diving, useless, fall-at-the-feet, non-tackle. I remember when he came back for like two weeks in '09, all of a sudden everyone in the secondary was suddenly doing it, it spread like wildfire. It is contagious. Those who do it need to be separated from the herd to avoid cross-contamination.

You are spot on. I have been saying this since McKenzie came back.
You are 100% correct.
