Curtis Lofton leading entire NFL in tackles
this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; Not to play Devil's Advocate here, but his tackles wouldn't be near as high if our defensive line weren't allowing 4-6 yards up the middle on the majority of run plays. Less tackles wouldn't necessarily be a bad thing if ...

Not to play Devil's Advocate here, but his tackles wouldn't be near as high if our defensive line weren't allowing 4-6 yards up the middle on the majority of run plays. Less tackles wouldn't necessarily be a bad thing if he had some help in front of him. Even still, it's good to see at least someone is making some plays.

And has several users have posted - the Saint Linebackers, including Shanle, could be that much better when the front four line play improves...
