I've only seen him play twice this year, so I'm curious as to why he has such a fine reputation.
To be honest, the freakish raw talent is there. Last year he was pretty dominate, for some reason he is having a big time down year. IMO at the next level he is best suited to play OLB in a 3-4 system, to play DE in a 4-3 system he is going to have to bulk up.

I am as big of a Homer as anyone when it comes to LSU. However, I think we could get someone a little better for the money than Mingo. Don't get me wrong, I love the guy, and he is fast, but I think if Werner was there and Mingo.... I go with Werner.

Freakesh speed and strength... That sounds EXACTLY what we are missing to make Spags defense to work. Pressure and lots of it.
