Even in their Week 5 victory over the Chargers, Guillot pointed out that the Saints didn't "step on the gas pedal" as they had done in previous seasons.
During the Saints' nine-game winning streak in 2011, including their playoff win over Detroit, here's what they did during the 58 possessions in which they had a lead: 28 touchdowns (48 percent), 7 field goals, 2 missed field goals, 6 turnovers, 15 punts.
In the first five games of 2012, here's what they did during the 16 possessions in which they've had a lead: 2 touchdowns (13 percent), 4 field goals, 1 missed field goal, 2 turnovers, 1 safety, 6 punts .

I do hope they spent time during the bye to work on run schemes...

They have been too predictable on running plays.
