Saints wide receiver Lance Moore calls Jenkins play a “Season-Changer”

On NFL Network’s Around the League the following day, Saints wide receiver Lance Moore said that the tackle had another effect on the team.

"There are some plays that are game-changers and then there are plays that are season-changers. I really felt like that was a season-changing play. – Lance Moore"

Boy the offense sure is throwing the defense a bone...

But the goal line stand was sweet; it was that prevent (a win) defense at the end of the game that stole the enthusiasm that things might be turning around...

Did you see the Saints' bench after the 4th down on that drive? It practically cleared onto the field, looked like that animated gif shot of the Saints sideline erupting during the Tracy Porter interception return. They were pumped up!

Game-changer, definitely. Season-changer? There's still way too much of the season to go to be making that kind of prediction with this team, but I do like his spirit. At least he didn't make any Ryan Khalil-type guarantees. And yes, I love taking shots at Khalil whenever I get the chance. Idiot.

Not only did he not give up on the 95 yard run, he then stopped Blount behind the line on 3rd down on the goal-line stand...
