Lest we forget that right now.. Sean Payton only owns 1/2 of ANYTHING, and that is subject to change LOL.

Ok, so you have a house in Dallas...... so what? You can fly (commute) to New Orleans daily or weekly, get paid 7million plus a year, have your hand picked GM, and a non-intrusive owner. It's like a 45 minute flight. Look below and tell me what makes the Dallas job soooo attractive? SP would get like, what 2....maybe 3 years??

Chan Gailey 1998–1999
Dave Campo 2000–2002
Bill Parcells 2003–2006
Wade Phillips 2007–2010 (had a higher winning % than Parecells... fired midseason during his 3rd season)
Jason Garrett 2010–Present (took over end of 2010 from fired Phillips)

Wade phillips was working with the talent that the tuna brought in, No way Payton goes to dallas to put up with Jerry Jones.
When he was suspended for the season who was the first person he called to take his place (Parcels) I would think that Parcels would advise him against going to Dallas, just knowing how much **** he had to take.
Jerry Jones is an owner that needs to be reminded that he should be just that an owner not the GM, Coach, etc...... He's the reason that they suck, not because they have no talent.

Payton going to Dallas would be a matter of all the pieces falling in place...and right now they seem to be. Not only is JJ going to be ready for a new coach, but he will also be in the market for a new QB...as in nomo Romo.

For all who doubt that this possibility exists...a river in Egypt comes to mind.
