Win out and we are DEFINITELY in the playoffs

Saints What If?

BTW, 6 out of 7 gives us a 95% chance of the playoffs...

We've done the big winning streaks before. We won 13 and then lost 3, so it is possible to go 2-5 and then win 9 straight! :bng:

I even think 10-6 will get us in. But who knows gotta see how the Seahawks Vikings and cowboys unfold. 10-6 #6 seed 11-5 #5. We have to bring our AA game even against Oakland. We got some tough games ahead.

Technically we're in the middle of the mashup for a spot.
Here is a list from ESPN
  • We have head-to-head matches against Tampa and Dallas in coming weeks. Also with Giants, Falcons, and 49ers
  • Too much football left to be played to know exactly what the final makup of the top 6 teams will be.
  • Predict NY Giants possibly falling and/or Chicago. Someone usually tumbles out of the top mix to miss the playoffs.
As for bragging rights this week, we have a better division record than Atlanta too...

Brutal 3 game stretch. Falcons, 49ers, Giants.

Detroit can't beat anybody in its division so they're out. They'll also have to face houston, Indy, and Atlanta in their schedule.

Tampa is good but we beat in their field so I see no reason why we won't beat them in OUR field.

No the bears don't have a QB but at least Campbell of the bears isn't a turnover machine like Cutler. Carson Palmer turns it over too much and he's facing that turnover happy bears defense so minny is out.

Dallas will beat themselves. The saints game against them will mean nothing because they literally have no home field advantage.

They'll lose to Pittsburgh and Cincy and it wouldn't surprise me if they lose to washington.

The only team that worries me is seattle just because they got off to a good start. They're 6-4(even though they should be 5-5).

But from the way the hawks do terrible away and from how well the bills did against the pats, it wouldn't surprise me if they lose to miami, chicago, buffalo. Then they'll have the 9ers again.

As for our schedule?

The 9ers might not have a qb and it's at home and the saints might want revenge. Plus Kaepernick is similar to Vick so I think we can keep keep him in the pocket where he sucks.

Giants? They have no offense right now. Eli hasn't thrown a TD. The d has holes and they always do terrible at home.

The falcons? Honestly I think the falcons actually do worse at home. Their closest wins against the lousy raiders and panthers were both at home and the saints have their number.

Not saying we'll beat these teams 100% but these teams aren't the unstoppable brickwalls that people think they are.

I just go one week at a time at this point. I enjoy it when we win and keep from even thinking playoffs.

One can still dream of sports glory - even though it is a LONG way from here (4-5)...

The real world is sucking enough right now - need something to look forward to! GO SAINTS!
