Is there any team hotter in the NFL right now than the New Orleans Saints? After getting off to a 0-4 start, the Saints have won four of their last five games. Sunday’s win over the previously undefeated Atlanta Falcons puts the Saints at 4-5 with seven games remaining. If the Saints can continue their winning ways they could very well make a late season push for the playoffs. Getting in to the postseason is key as a hot New Orleans team could very well go on a Super Bowl run similar to last year’s 9-7 New York Giants.

Can balance carry the Saints to the Super Bowl?

Saints, Cowboys, Cardinals, Lions ... of all the 4-win teams in the NFC, they probably got the best shot ... Minnesota has GreenBay x2, Chicago x2 and Houston ... TampaBay has the falcons x2, Denver & the Saints ... stranger things have happened.

Lot of season left, but we have not much room for error. We are balanced the last two games, but the two teams we played are not good at stopping the run... so each game is different.

If we can run it takes pressure off of our O-line, which in my opinion is the biggest difference in their play. That said, we'll continue to struggle to run against team that are good at stopping it, but who doesn't?

I think the hardest game offense for us wise will be San Fran. Very physical defense. It's a good thing its at home. That will be a rough game. I'm not concerned about Tampa, Atlanta or the Giants.

SF is not playing this year like they did last year.. With a tie (WTF) with the Rams, a loss to Minnesota, a (26-3) loss to the Giants... They are not the same team we played in the playoffs.

If teams like Rams, Vikings, Lions can put up 20+ points we should be able to 40 burger them in the dome.

We are starting to do well against the Rush and SF being 28th in passing (our weakest point), I think we will do very well against them.

Smith just had a concussion so who knows who we will face.

Anything is still possible. We have to keep winning and we need some help but it's better than 0-4.

The D is the only thing that bothers me. If our O is off I don't trust the D to help out the cause. I have Faith just not much in our D.

my confidence in the defense is actually starting to build little by little... They have started to do well against the rush, limit the big play for the most part, and making the occasional big play when absolutely necessary...
