So is this the week that they get the rookies with the "turkey" prank? I remember seeing this in 2010 but wondered if they still did it?

I think there was a video posted on here somewhere from last year. SkyMike, they tell rookies they cN get a free turkey at one of the grocery stores, and when they get there, the store manager pretends like he's never heard of them before.

Yes, it's the same prank every year. Been going on for a lot of years now. Don't know how they manage to pull it off every year, but the rookies always fall for it. I remember when they did it to Chase Daniel; the guy at the store says "You're a quarterback? You don't look big enough to be a qb!" I think Morstead had to produce some identification that he was a player.

Those are funnier than all get out. It sort of gives you a feel for the player. You know the folks at the store egg them on a little.

The best thing to tell a ProBaller - "You Look Bigger on TV" - Oh Man, does that pi$$ 'em off...

Even better is when a hot chick tells 'em "You're not [insert name], he's cuter than you" - ooolahlah does that get their goat...

We got a very hot coworker to do that one night to mess with Lance the Ladies Man and I thought he was gonna $**t a Bunny Rabbit!!!
