The differences are, New Orleans has a Mardi Gras tradition, the costumes are varied and clever (clown, vooddoo guy, Whistle Monster, Moses, Master Chief, etc), and the ambiance is festive; unlike Oakland, whose fans try desperately to display "badness" and "toughness", trying to be scary, but they aren't any of those things. |
