Is Greg Williams not testifying akin to "cut the hearing's head off and the investigation will die?" ... vice-versa or something like that ... I hope so, the NFL just needs to accept the fact they went way overboard on this and they got nothing.

I want him to testify and tell everyone that he signed a blank piece of paper and the NFL(Godhell) filled it in.

I know someone else was the "smoking gun" but thier entyire case was built around the affidavit that Willaims signed...

I thought the same thing. I thought Williams not showing up could mean 2 things:

1. Williams doesn't appear. His sworn affidavit is not considered by Tagliabue. Cerullo gets thrown under the bus by the NFL. Face saved. Case closed.

or...

2. Williams doesn't appear. His sworn affidavit is not considered by Tagliabue, therefore eliminating the inconsistencies between Cerullo's and Williams' affidavits. NFL sticks to its guns. Of course, this would be SO obvious, the case will surely go to court.

Meanwhile, SP is still suspended and we are minus two 2nd round picks. How much do we get in retribution again?

Our season is in shambles( trying to get to .500 is shambles to me).
We should get both of our second round picks back and an additional 1st or 2nd round as well. I know Godhell won't go there, but I can hope can't I?:cool:
