Saints claim CB Derek Ross off waivers

NEW ORLEANS (AP)  The New Orleans Saints claimed cornerback Derek Ross off wavers on Wednesday.
Ross was waived by the Atlanta Falcons.
A third-round draft pick by the Dallas Cowboys in 2002, he went to the Falcons after the 12th game last year.
Ross, 5-foot-10, 197 pounds, played in eight games with Dallas and two with Atlanta last season. He missed the first four games of the season after surgery on his right knee
