My shout out goes to Jordan. He was definitely the best player on defense.

Chris Ivory, Cam Jordan, oh BTW, was Graham hurt? Why did he only play sparingly in the second half? It seemed like we planned to lose this game. Just too many strange calls and players not playing when they should have been. It almost seems like we wanted to lose this one.

Man, Marlboro, I am almost going to go there with you. I don't know about planning to lose, but that game got very weird internally, in the X's and O's -- so many things were "off." I kept thinking about this in the past day or so. Where was Pierre Thomas all day? If it was up to ME I'd be pounding him at the 49ers every play!

It almost makes me wonder, if maybe there was a bit of "crazy like a fox" going on there. I dunno. Like maybe just maybe, they didn't use Pierre Thomas in the 49ers game that much, and maybe laid off Graham in the second half too, because they didn't want him to get banged to bits and head-hunted by the 49ers and lose him for the WHOLE year. I wonder if the 49ers are "in our heads" so bad that the coaches just were like, let's get through this, hunker down, get us out of here, in one piece, we can expend Ivory but we gotta keep Thomas Graham Drew and Sproles from getting hurt, or else the season is REALLY over.

Plus in theory, mathematically, we're one game out -- in spite of what Alaska thinks, the Saints didn't really NEED that 49ers game in a true do-or-die, win-or-go-home sense. The Falcons one on Thursday, and the rest from there, we freaking NEED that one. Also if we are lucky enough and do make the playoffs, we may well see the 49ers again. Something to think about. But I agree, that game plan was really weird.
