That's pretty much it. I was hugely disappointed yesterday, and thought we
should have beaten a really good football team. They're better. Nothing's
changed since the 80s. One thing is, if we do sneak in to the playoff's, we'll probably play them in Candlestick, as the worst seed vs. the first seed, so we
can finally avenge ourselves.

Lets beat Atlanta.

They're not better, just opportunistic. Brees has to take better care of the ball and not try to force it in there. The 2 pick 6's were the dagger that lost the game for us. I can only hope we fare better on Thursday.

We played better then they did. If Brees doesn't throw those 2 interceptions, I think we win that game.

Over it. Atlanta is not a playoff worthy team. Neither are we but we look better losing than they do winning.

It's like they took a scantron test without studying and managed to get the first 10 out of 11 right. Mark my words, that no run game is not going to work in the playoffs.

Yeah problem is a lot of the team is banged up and it's a short week.
If we can beat Atlanta twice that will in itself be a major achievement for the season.

Undecided about that myself. San Fran made a few mistakes that went our way also. It would have been a close game that could have gone either way (much like the game last year) if you eliminated both teams mistakes.
I'm with you, however, beating the falcons would redeam our hopes.

mike u understand where i'm coming from. its happened all six years brees has been here. we take the rah- rah bully bull crapo from the hot heads for a quarter are so then there all out of gas, then the bulldozer takes crash off the field play by play. it was there again when we had a 7 point lead with seconds to half and the big bad bullies were about to concede.
