Sean Payton's extension with Saints may be near final
 

ESPN is reporting that the NFL and Sean Payton’s agent have begun finalizing conditions that would allow the suspended coach to negotiate an extension with the club.

Adam Schefter Tweeted that once the conditions are in place, Payton’s agent, Don Yee, and the Saints are expected to being discussions about a contract extension.

It just happened. NFLN with Mike Tripplet and a reporter from Dallas on 3 way. I dunno... I still don't see how Dallas is more attractive for our coach.
