Congratulations to the Falcons. It looks like this year may finally be their year.
One thing every Saints fan has learned is... every dog has their day.

Having said that... it's not over. You still have to earn it...

Brees has sucked the past 2 weeks.

Sorry Lance Moore dropped that Touchdown. That cost Brees the continuation of the consecutive TD pass record.

Im done watching them until Sean Payton comes back, Ill go Fishing on Sundays.

All the Saints fans should sue the NFL and Goodell for their money back this season, they sure the hell did not get a complete product.

I don't know about this being their year; some very good defenses still lurking...

but congrats for winning 3 of the last 14, and to Ryan for finally being 1-3 against the Saints at home...

And yep, Moore catches that TD and we have a whole different ball-game...

the rest of this season is spent hoping like hell that Atlanta loses. that's it. It doesn't matter what the Saints do the rest of the season. just as long as the Falcons lose.

The 49ers will chew the Falcons up and spit them out all over the field, whether it is Candlestick or the Georgia dome, it doesn't matter. If they face the Giants the defending Super Bowl champs will reduce them to a pile of smoking rubble a la the famous "2 points" fiasco. Green Bay has their number and has cleaned their clock numerous times in big blowouts. We own them, usually, except for a ridiculous5 turnovers tonight.

No way "this is their year." It's just NOT our year, that's all. You want to crown them, go ahead and crown them.

I wouldn't root for the Falcons in the Super Bowl if they were up against Satan's minions.

That said, I doubt they make it that far.

after seeing all the posts throwing brees under the bus, i'm glad to see people talking about lance's awful drop. it gives me hope that people actually comprehend the game they're watching.
this game made me sick, the falcons didn't do anything that makes me think they warrant a 11-1 record.

If it comes down to SF-ATL, that is a no brainer for me.

I'd rather bathe in dog vomit than see the 49ers ever win the big game again...


Would probably depend on who is in the Superbowl. I'd take the Falcons over the Ravens, Patriots, or Steelers.

I'm pulling for the Texans to win it all right now since we are a couple of other team's wins away from elimination...

Of the teams that will make the playoffs, I'm for the Texans.

The Saints are done for 2012. We would need to win out AND get LOTS of help to make it in (I'm seeing 4% as our chances for #6 seed). We had our help last weekend and choked on the 49ers. Tonight's loss was just the icing on the excrement sandwich.

It could happen. Kate Hudson could knock on my front door wearing nothing but a coat and my old lady not care. Not holding my breath...

For my late brother, I would pull for the Falcons in the playoffs if our season's done. Yeah I know the Super Bowl's in NOLA but we can egg their bus, right? :)

A lot of If's and But's tonight........bottom line we lost and Atlanta won. No sense pointing fingers at anyone or any area. We lost and they won. But at the end of the day,,,,I would rather poke my eyes out with a butter knife or battery acid than ever root for the falcons. I hate 'em as much as the seachickens and I gotta live with those rat bast*rd fans every day. I would not watch the Super Bowl if they made it,,,and I'd probably drive to N.O. to throw eggs at Matty Ice's sh*tty white rat teeth. But on a bright note for me,,,,i'm encouraged on defense, not a bad effort, they deserved a better fate the last two weeks.

What about the Broncos? I think they have a pretty good chance of making it this year. I would pull for them if they made it. On a side note: Is this what a 100 million dollar contract gets us? 7 picks in the last two games when the season is at an absolute must win time. You may want to throw stanes at me, or even some rotten eggs, but I just have not been very impressed with Brees this year. He has shown time and time again that he has lost his edge. If you go back and watch all of the games the Saints lost this year you will see mediocre performances by Brees. 2 Interceptions against Washington, 2 Interceptions against Carolina, 1 Interception against KC, None against the Packers....It was at that point the Saints began to win. Brees still threw an interception against a very pourous chargers defense but managed to pull out a victory. Fast forward to sanfrancisco he had 9 interceptions going into that game but whats he do, he throws 2 picks which ultimately cost the Saints the game considering they were leading with the last 30 seconds left on the clock during the first half 14 to 7. Todays game only proved he is not worth 100 million dollars, nor is any other player on this team. 5 interceptions, you have got to be kidding me. I realize it is a combined team effort but common man!!! I beleive it is time to let Chase lead this team. Perhaps we could have won more games this season if he started this year? One may never know, but what I do know is atleast he isn't selfish. "We own this division" what a douche

Th Falcons quarterback is terrible. Horrible. He threw for 165 yards against the worst defense in NFL history. He's not good. Performers like that do not win in the playoffs.

Have you ever lived in Atlanta? I lived there during an active duty tour in the Army. In fact, I was there when the Saints won the SB. Falcons fans absolutely despise the Saints. They would pull for Team Satan and Hitler rather than for the Saints.

Even after we won the SB, the Falcons fans said that the NFL told the refs to give us wins . . . Katrina refs, they called them.

So, hell no, I pull against the Falcs every game, no matter who they play.
