So no this conversation doesn't need to be had... it's silly

The only thing thats going to get him out of his slump is SP.

To suggest tanking the rest of the season is just idiotic and by suggesting to sit Drew, that is exactly what we would be doing. You never quit! You play with pride and you play to win. The post season is more than likely out of reach but you NEVER quit.

If anything, I say bench him earlier and put in Chase in games that are insane blowouts when we're WINNING, like the Raiders or the past two times we've pummeled the Giants. But take him out of a game that can still be won, or out of a season that isn't over yet? Yikes.

I mean not to be overly melodramatic but it's football. It's like doctors and nurses in the ER. You have that heart attack patient on the table, he's slipping away, you do EVERYTHING to keep him alive, everything you can think of, even things you know probably won't work, but you don't quit. You don't see a doctor just walk away ten minutes before the guy is actually dead, and stop trying stuff that might still work. I mean yeah, the doctor and everyone in the room may know that the poor guy is not gonna make it, but you still have to do your job.

I can think of a few people I'd sit, based on performance, and Drew is NOT one of them.

We pay the man to play football, and that's just what he should do, and will do.

Your guys' O line is not that bad. If this was like the O lines in Philly or Arizona then by all means sit him down. Brees is a competitor & I wouldn't think he would want to sit. Plus, on the up side whatever rookie or seldom used receivers could get work in game conditions in preparation for next year. Remember when Colston went down in opener vs. Packers last year? (was on my fantasy team & killed me LOL). Experience from this year's last 4 games could pay dividends for next season.

Wow too much pessimism. And it won't be us that ends Dallas's chances it will be bengals if they win. Giants know how to collapse. They could lose to eagles last game and thats the concern I mainly have. We can't win the tiebreaker over two teams but we can beat one solo unless Seattle beats Chicago or SF.

This might sound crazy but an eagles upset this week would be good in Dallas.

No ! Thats all i have to say NO ! You don't sit Drew Brees down. First he'd never let it happen.

Once we are out of the playoff picture for sure (should that actually mathematically happen) then let Brees play three and Chase finish for the end of the season games.

You don't sit Brees, you run the ball more to see what RB's you want to keep and the one you might want to trade next year.
