Watching this SEC championship game.

this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; "Lmao!! I heard that. I never suggested we draft a Bama player. I was just saying I wish we had a hard hitting defense." lol, I know man. I wish we did too. As much as the defense has improved ...

lol, I know man. I wish we did too. As much as the defense has improved over the last couple weeks, they still don't hit very hard. Of course, if they did it would be considered a bounty hit. The post below yours is more of what influenced my post.

I wonder if there will ever be parity in the NCAA. I get tired of seeing the same teams at the top of the polls year after year.

I don't know one thing about Notre Dame this year. I haven't seen one of their games, but it was a long drought there for the Irish. It will be an interesting title game, IMO.

I don't think there ever will be parity in NCAA football ... it's all about ratings, regional markets & the best players will always gravitate towards the schools that give them the most exposure. You do get some turnover every other decade or so, but not a whole lot.

What cave have you been in?!?

Growing up, we had Notre Dame, Penn State, U of Miami, Nebraska/Oklahoma, Michigan shoved down our throats...

Notre Dame still has its own TV deal with NBC that rivaled earlier NFL contracts...

When ND got on its roll this season, NBC and its affiliate networks even started running "Rudy" - I hate that sentimental BS joke of a movie...

For years, those that knew and really understood the game, watched as SEC teams would knock one another off our of the polls with one loss and that would be used as an excuse by biased, hypocritical reporters in the North and MidWest to keep the SEC out of it...

Well no more...and when the playoffs get here...and if they are not slanted in their setup...you're gonna see SEC football really take off...

It's not that my way is the right way, I just make the right way my way...

^ THIS. Even just knowing there were dissatisfied or unhappy fans who also watch the Falcons, watching a Georgia loss last night, made me smile.

If you liked the hits in the SEC champ, did you watch Wisconsin-Nebraska? Huge hits in that one.
