Ok forget this season

Ok forget this season

Ok I just read about the kid in Kansas City killing his girlfriend and then himself. Whatever our record is I just realized I don't give a ****. It just isn't that imporant in the big picture.

I agree, 1-win season or .500, it doesn't matter because it's just a game. I also can't imagine how Crennel and Pioli must feel after what had happened today and it's going to be difficult for the Chiefs tomorrow.

As football fans I can see how this might hit somewhat close to home ... but this tragically happens everyday in all kinds of walks of life. Maybe it is because I am older, but I do not let events like this deter my life. This is no sadder than any of the other 1000 people that had their lives ended yesterday. Or the day before. Or tomorrow.

Sports are my escape from the hardships of life. I compartmentalize. While tragic, I put these things into perspective. This in no way affects my enthusiasm for the games this weekend and I will once again retreat into my gridiron otherworld as I have today and enjoy.

It is tragic news and and for most of us it is game we see in the arena. But when the camera's are off players deal with life problems just like the rest of us.

Tragic and unforgivable of him to kill his woman instead of just finding another one. Good chance he was physically abusing her for some time.

There's about a 98% chance that she was screwing around on him, causing his jealousy and anger, but there's absolutely no excuse great enough to cause a man to kill his girlfriend.

He was weak-minded and she was probably banging some scrawny Raiders fan, pushing him to insanity.

Hey, you gotta call it what it is... MURDER came before his suicide. I could give a shat about the pitiful excuse for a man.

I feel sorry for the woman he killed.

A 2 and a half month old baby now grows up without a mother or father. What a selfish, cowardly, and irresponsible *******. The baby will now have to go to a relative or foster care with the guardians having the pleasure to tell the baby that it's father shot his mother and then killed himself when it's of age.

We would need an absolute miracle to make the playoffs, the way we are playing that's not necessarily a bad thing

What are the chances bears can go 9-7 by losing at vikes, cards, and at lions?

Ive cared less about football since my wife left me and took the kids. Some **** just doesnt seem important anymore.and that was over a year ago, I cant begin to understand how Crennel must feel..jeeze. I told myself about 15 years ago if the Saints ever won a superbowl I would chill on my obsession with them, I didnt until I lost everything... There are more important things than football
