sitting here in my Saints room reading about the ruling, watching espn,and adding up all the money I have invested in Saints merchandise really pisses me off. The Season was stolen from us, Vilma will likely get a fat settlement and his name cleared...what about us????? what about us that have spent money traveling with hotels and tickets to see our Saints, the 65 saints hats, the jerseys, the tickets, THE BEER....what about us?

Im not saying they owe us, because they dont. But we as fans were screwed this year. If the penalties had not been vacated , I would have turned off the tv and said "figures"..but now thinking about how this season was ruined for a bastards witch hunt against us....it pisses me off.

Im not looking for them to say sorry or any of that , but rather just venting on how freakin wrong this crap is. I love my saints, and I cant believe how uninterested in football in general I have become this year. Roger G can go to hell:biggun:

The NFL really has changed, and I mean for the worse. ...I will be here the rest of the season and ready to rock when training camp fires up, but I really am not understanding how this crap was allowed in the first place. I really hope someone feeds Rog God a plate full of pupes and azzhairs during the superbowl week.

I think the league should give New Orleans the Super Bowl again next year AND we should get our picks back and perhaps an extra one or two for all the BS.

You are correct about one statement for sure. The NFL is changing and not for the better. The way they have changed kickoffs, so called "protecting players" in many different situations, how they have added Thursday games to gain revenues at the expense of player safety, wanting to make things an 18 game season. It all adds up to a totally different NFL and exposes the greed coming from the front office and the owners of each team. The integrity of the game is deteriorating before our eyes by non-football people having to much power and say in how things will be. Sad.

Yep, happy their suspensions were thrown out. However, a finding that pretty much reads, "Yep they all did it based on something or another but because they were contaminated by the evil saints organization we arent going to punish them" doesn't bring me a lick of satisfaction.

I hope that we can at least serve as a terrible warning to others that having so much power in the hands of one person, especially if they are a flaming power hungry nut like Der Kommissar, is a recipe for disaster. It's our team this year, it could well be any other team next year. Apparentlly, all it takes is some rumors and a malcontent or two and your team could be blown right up.

Contamination is the wrong word. It's a word to describe chemicals and and food primarily but if he wants to use it fine. When something is contaminated you throw it out. Start over. You can't just pick a little of it out and tell people it's fine.

The commissioner contaminated the process ... it is precisely the commissioner's own actions that led us down this path. He is not fit to be in his current position.

Someone has already filed a class action suit on our behalf, btw...

Belair, this is why I vowed during the offseason, in the middle of this bounty crapola, and during Brees's holdout, that I would not spend a single dime on the NFL this season. So I haven't. No shirts, no hats, no jerseys, no nothing...period. My wife even wanted to order me something for Christmas from NFLshops.com, I told her thank you very much, but she better not. I know my little bit of protest goes un-noticed by the NFL, but I sleep better at night.

And I'm probably going to continue the holdout as long as Goodell is commisioner. I'll just spend my money somewhere else.
