Two things:

(1) AB\'s first name is on his jersey because we have an A Brooks who is a corner.

(2) After Ambrose got beat on that play, he made the tackle in the backfield on the very next play. He\'s looked fine since!

Agreed they didn\'t look so good on the last two passing plays.

However, I\'m watching it in Madison WI, and they\'re saying that it is only thanks to Farve\'s great abilities that the balls are getting in there. Thus, I\'m not too excited about what people are saying. I can see it with my own eyes in this case.

Regardless, I\'ve seen some check downs and some decent coverage including two near picks one by F. Brown and one by T-buck - pretty good against Farve, I\'d say.

Wow. Some how I must have missed the two other plays where he got \"torched\". There was a deep pass to Driver I think who ran a good post corner and Ambrose was under a yard off - it that counts as \"torched\" then I\'m not sure we have anything to discuss.

Gator, I\'m watching this game too. I\'m sure you wouldn\'t say anything if you thought they were doing fine. However, that isn\'t and argument. What I see is not bad - and I\'m looking at it right now. By all means have at Billy, but what you are saying strikes me as simply overstated.

The Farve thing wasn\'t an EXCUSE. I was merely pointing out that your argument regarding what OUR announcers were saying is irrelevant because what THEIR announcers are saying is pretty well the oposite. Thus, no credence for such an argument.

Also, Gator, I don\'t appreciate the way you put your points. If you disagree, make an argument for crying out loud - don\'t just call me delusional or state that you have some sort of priviledge in what you can say because you have a track record.

I have appreciated your points in the past, but I just don\'t see that I deserve the treatment you just gave me - e.g. I have never been rude to you.

Aaron Brooks is pathetic. I think he\'s faking the thigh injury. The offense isn\'t doing well. The two starting tackles are missing. Brooks wants to be known as a \"pocket passer\" so he doesn\'t want to scramble. Now he fakes an injury so Bauman can run out there, look awful and then Brooks can whine about deserving more money.

If Brooks wants more money, he\'s going to have to do alot better than last night and faking injuries and whining are not the way to get it. More money I mean.

There is no reason for him to fake an injury or whine at this point in the season. Maybe after the Saint\'s are 5 and 0 and he has 1200 yards passing, 8 TD\'s and no int\'s.

Then maybe we can talk.
