There was already a framework in place - history. And yes it WAS a new CBA, and yes the players DID attempt to whittle away at Roger's power, and yes they did make a decision to leverage that against things like fewer full go practices and 18 games.
It was a calculated risk, but in their defense they could not assume Roger would go bat chit crazy the way he did. |
