Safety position - Bush and Quddus
Malcolm who?
Rafael Bush and Quddus played awesome Helped that we had some pressure on freeman and he didnt manage to get comfortable but i've gotta say; I feel alot more comfortable watching our D with rafael bush back there, he looks like a prototypical safety and not a converted player WHO DAT |
Re: Safety position - Bush and Quddus
I love Quaddus!! Almost to the point of a man-crush and I am as straight as it gets.

Re: Safety position - Bush and Quddus
I agree, with current set up Rafael Bush, Quddus and Jenkins is a good mix, Jenkins can play close to the line for run support, cover TE's etc. Harper the odd man out after we draft one.

Re: Safety position - Bush and Quddus
Furthers the sentiment that this team does not lack talent by any means.
We completely shut down one of the rising backs in this league and keep Freeman rattled containing their passing game also. I can't wait til Sean Payton is back with us next year. |
Re: Safety position - Bush and Quddus
I hope they keep it up for 2 more games just so its not only a one time thing.

Re: Safety position - Bush and Quddus
While they looked good at times they were late on numerous throws that would have led to non-stop hammering if their names were Harper and Jenkins.
We have more talent on this team than many have suggested. |
Re: Safety position - Bush and Quddus
I can wear my Bush jersey again!

Re: Safety position - Bush and Quddus
True. If Freeman didn't suck so bad, the opportunities were there for Tampa... they just couldn't capitalize. With that said, 0 is 0... hopefully we build on this performance finishing strong and into the off season.
Watch out NFL, the 2013 Saints will have a big chip on their shoulder. Motto for next year should be TAKE NO PRISONERS. |
Re: Safety position - Bush and Quddus
Bush and Quaddus seem to know what each other is going to do at all time, how much room they can give, which is going where, kind of joined at the hip so to speak, Jenkins and Harper don't. By his play on the field alone they are a better tandam by far, if they can play well the rest of the season I have a strong feeling 2 people just lost their starting jobs.

They looked good, but certainly no better than Jenkins and Harper. The good news is it appears we have 4 capable safeties already on the roster. I just can't believe the over-reaction to a couple highlight plays. It was one game. We played the same 3 last week as Eli torched us for 4 TD's. |

Re: Safety position - Bush and Quddus
Not to take anything away from either of them, but 3 of the four interceptions, were TERRIBLE throws by freeman. de la Puente could've made those interceptions.

I like them both, especially Quddus, but lets not get carried away. |

Re: Safety position - Bush and Quddus
Isa&Bush did give up alot of 15 and 20 yarder's today...But no TD's but they did abandon the run with that said Freemans Completion % wasnt good they had 6 passing plays for 15 yards or more and 3 of those were 20 or more so yea they played lil better but nothing to celebrate about...But without a doubt Isa is around the ball more than Jenkins

Re: Safety position - Bush and Quddus
Jenkins could be the big physical corner we've needed, with Bush and Q looking good.
