What's up with Stallworth?!?

I'm sitting here watching packers/saints again, and am just disgusted with Donte's apparent lack of ability to catch a ball. Twice on slant patterns from the right, Donte had really catchable balls go right thru his hands. The common denominator seems to be wether or not there's any defenders around him. If he's wide open running down the left sideline (image from last year) he's great...but every ball thrown to him in any kind of coverage, he drops it.

Joe Horn said in a recent TV interview that Donte hasn't been the same since the big hit last year that took his helmet off. I see Devery Henderson taking his place early in the season in the depth chart.

Horn might have a point. As 08 has noticed before, CLEARLY it has to be an awful feeling to go across the middle on a pass thrown too high knowing that the safety is going to try and make the highlight reel when he hits you.

But when the kid is on and makes the catch, he is sure fun to watch.

I find it a bit odd that Joe Horn would be calling Donte\' out like that. Especially when Joe Horn needs to work on his own game. And I don\'t look for anyone to be taking Donte\'s place on the depth chart.

When Donte\' has been healty no one in the league has been more productive except for Moss in terms of TD to catch ratio.

We know how hard Donte\' has worked in the offseason. Let\'s give it more than a couple of preseason games??

Maybe Horn should be worried about Henderson taking his place on the depth chart instead of talking about Stallworth\'s situation. No one, will take Stallworth\'s place this year, this is the year he stays healthy.
