What were the best and worst New Orleans Saints games of the 2012 season?
 

I know. For most of you, the answer to the "best" question will be none since the New Orleans Saints missed the playoffs in a disappointing 2012 campaign. But it wasn't all bad, was it?
Deadspin.com recently produced its ranking of every NFL game this past season based on "watchability" -- with credit being awarded to games that were "close, high-scoring, meaningful and had an unexpected result."

The Saints' 28-27 loss to the Green Bay Packers in Week 4 tied for fifth overall, while the Saints' 41-0 blowout win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 15 ranked dead last.
I'm sure some Saints fans would reverse that order -- while others might agree that the back-and-forth thriller at Green Bay was the best game of the season (even without the correct result).
The "worst" game will be harder to choose with so many worthy candidates (losses to Kansas City, Denver, Atlanta and Washington all spring to mind).

Best: Atlanta Game One

Worst: SF & Atlanta Game Two. Went into those with so much hope, and that hope was shot all to hell. Plus, our clock management before the half in the second Atlanta game will haunt me for the rest of my days. What the hell was that? Seriously. *twitch*

Losing the last game of the year to Carolina sucked too. I had talked myself into being ok with 8-8, and couldn't even get that.

Best: AF game 1
Worst: KC. Somehow we lost that game multiple times

Best: first Atlanta game
Worst: Broncos game ... Saints were never in that game, looked terrible
