Well if the Patriots win it might be all fine and dandy.

They are at least in a similar boat as the Saints, Pats got to go up against the NFL more than the Teams as well.

That's what I'm talking about with Atlanta. You can pull off a game like that against Pete Carroll & his rookie QB, but if that had been SFran, Bal, NE on the other side of the ball, they never would have been in a position to win that game after blowing a lead like that. Belichek and the Harbaugh brothers are 'closers', Carroll is not.

Falcons is lucky they got a kicker as accurate as Matt Bryant.

He has had to decide many many close games the Falcons should of lost by kicking some decently long field goals, most over 40 yards. Not just this year, but in years past.

Yep. Check his longest for each year since 2004.

Field Goals, Luck and Roger Goodell can only get you so far. In this case to the NFC Championship with homefield advantage.

The Falcons have a very tough game infront of them... and IF they make it to the superbowl its still a tall order.

Matt Bryant Stats - Atlanta Falcons - ESPN

it speaks volumes.

each season as a Falcon its been over 50.

He had one season in TB with 50, and one with 62 which was an insane kick.

He has a good amount of 40-49 yarders to which was most of the game deciding kicks.
