Roger a hero in NO! STF Door.

From hero to villain, Roger Goodell returns to New Orleans as Super Bowl's conflicted character - Yahoo! Sports

Goodell is a monster. What happened after Katrina had nothing to do with him. It was going to happen with our without him.

If NO would have lost the team or right to host the SB it would have been a PR disaster for the NFL. What has happened on Goodell's watch is dwindling ticket sales every year he has been in charge and this year he scoffed at the fans, players, and refs and went with replacement refs with little training and said it would be fine. It wasn't. It was a mess. Even then he never admitted he and the owners made a mistake.

Then he made several false claims against the Saints again, never admitting fault. Hargrove NEVER said show me the money and that is a fact. Vilma never put a 10K bounty on the table. Nobody can verify it. The man even offered his bank statements.

And putting Ray Lewis on a pedestal as a model player...someone who lied to police who has 6 kids from 4 women. Two people who said he was involved in the murders suddenly changed their stories. If Roger is soo good at what he does then why did Paul have to come in as a closer to clean up the mess he made. The truth is Roger is bad for the NFL on every level.

Fair to say the refs cost the Packers the number 2 seed(Seahawks). The 49ers game should have been in Lambeau

Roger will be eating room service, or ordering take-out.

How convenient for this story to appear shortly before Roger has a come to Jesus meeting with Saints fans in New Orleans. If he truly wants to be a hero, he needs to admit that he screwed up the entire handling of the Bountygate scandal. He could make a good faith offering by reinstating Sean Payton immediately and giving back the second round draft pick to the team. This will not earn him forgiveness from fans or change the fact that our 2012 season was deeply affected by the mishandling of this whole incident, but it might buy him, at the least, a little civility during his upcoming visit. Good luck to him if he maintains his pompous attitude and then expects to be treated like a "hero" in the Crescent City.

I still think he announces we get our 2nd rounder back this week.

Its looking less and less likely. :(

But... if you were going to give our pick back, or announce Payton is reinstated, what better time to do it than right before the Superbowl in New Orleans?

Not me. At this point I could care less what he admits to. Just give us back our coach and 2nd round pick and lets leave 2012 in 2012.

I hope Goodell likes Lunchables, he'd better pack some.

Everybody associated with Gohell is going to get some additional flavoring in every meal. Godhell and crew need to bring a can opener! ;)
