Yes, we're rebuilding the defence.

I think you're all ****ed in the head. We're probably a few days from a new defense and you want to bail out. Well I'll tell you something. This is no longer an off season. It's a quest. It's a quest for good defense. You're gonna have a good defense, and I'm gonna have a good defense... We're all gonna have such a good defense we're gonna need plastic surgery to remove our goddamn smiles! You'll be whistling 'Zip-A-Dee Doo-Dah' out of you're *******s! I must be crazy! I'm on a pilgrimage to get a good defense. Praise Sean Payton! Holy ****!

I'm following your plan coach.

I thought about starting a thread 20 times but never did. Especially on the heals of all of the Payton will fix everything replays.
Do NOT misinterpret this reply. However, Sean Payton is still the coach that lost to Seattle in the playoffs in 2010, St. Louis Rams in 2011... No one was cheering him after those games. As I said. Do not misrepresent this reply, I wouldn't have another coach. However, he is not infallible as a Head Coach for the Saints and no miracles will happen. He has been with the Saints for six seasons and is only one season away from having a .500 winning season record. His comment is meant to keep things into perspective. |

You know John Wanye never ever came out and said that he would just destroy the competition . He always downplayed the senereo. Like were going get killed before we cross the indian territory. But then he always came out on top.

Re: Sean Payton does not promise 10-12 wins as New Orleans Saints rebuild
History gives us edge against jets, bills, cards, and at least either Seattle or St.Louis on the road we should beat. The division games I'm expecting at least 4-2(we got swept by Carolina last year and I believe the every other sweep with falcons continue) Also NE, I'm not sold on Brady able to outduel Brees especially if we get them week 6 or 7. And tbh Miami has given us problems but the game is in NO. Thats at least 10 wins with the games against Dallas, NE and San Francisco pending and I think we beat one or two of them.
If any team wins division other than us, its Carolina as they have axes to grind with TB and are due for a sweep of Atl and if they go to Atl last game of season, they get first meeting at home. They could get the sweep. I look at Atlanta's schedule and they are heading straight for a week 1 match in SF, and likely will have NE, GB, NO first half as well as those are too appealing for second half. Atl could lose all four of those games. I believe SF, us, and GB will be losses and because its at home NE could go either way but no Gonzo and pats having two tightends point to NE winning as it is a weakness of the falcons that many offenses didnt figure out. So I can see Atlanta getting off to a 4-4 start and possibly 3-5 if they go to Car or TB in the first half. It will set in to keep them from 11 wins at least. |
