Atlanta Constitution Dirtbag Characterizes NO-Goodell Relationship

"If Atlanta is the city too busy to hate, New Orleans must be the sparks-still-flying-off-the-head city too obsessed to forget."

He must have meant, "If Atlanta is the city too stupid to breath, New Orleans is the city too smart to resuscitate them."

They just cannot imagine caring that much. Hard to hold it against them really. Who could care about the Falcons? *shrug*

I do love that sign at the Crescent City Brewhouse. Well done.

If you really want to get to the bottom of the hatred from Atlanta, look at the Super Bowl count: Saints 1 championship, Falcons:ZERO. That's all you need to know. They can make fun of our city because they wish they had as much culture as we have, heck, they wish they had culture to begin with

Usually when you think of a city, one thats a metropolitan area, you think their is something associated with that city, New Orleans its food, San Fran its Street cars, you know each city has its own things.

Now.......

WTF DOES ATLANTA HAVE?

I never found that answer, only thing I can think of is Bill collectors, CNN, TBS, basically garbage.

here in Chattanooga, where I live now, it is smaller than Atlanta but unlike Atlanta it has something that people can easily associate it with, whether it's the Choo Choo or Lookout Mountain.

Cheap shot from Atl. Journ Cons newspaper. Is'nt this the main newspaper too? Pretty sad. Can we say sour grapes over there.
Superbowl week for ay REAL fan of the NFL is about celebrating the SB teams and the host city.
Indy is a tundra, winter city. That is not a slam on Indy.
However, for SB, there was lots of coverage about how Indy had enclosed walkways for people to move from event to event and more. Indy did it up and right. Lucas Stadium is nice.
It is amazing how the host city does things to showcase their best and make it good, convenient for SB tourists.
Seems to me Atlanta Cont. newspaper should be spending more time and ink on reporting how the AF owner is putting out his feelers there that he wants a new , big stadium and if he doesn't , then he is taking his toy and moving it. If their owner takes his toy , then Atl won't have that worry about bidding to be a SB host city.Yeah, Benson toyed with that too. Yeah , owners do. Thing is, fans, state and city defeated him along with NFL PaulT. and Roger G.
Writer does not do his homework either and have fact checkers. E.Edwards is not from N.O.
"SuperDome a dump. " Hardly. Really, come on there. He could not think up anything better there if he wanted to make a slam. Ask NFL Network and SB toruists there if they like the SD? Do they think it is good for the big game? I will trust their opinions.
Biased article. Saints fans admit Saints were wrong in stupid bounty talk. Punishments were way too severe. This all will not help NFL in head injury lawsuits. Writer missed the bigger picture of what is . What actually is and is not over . What is to come with the NFL with this case as evidence for the NFL's case head injury lawsuits.
Goodell signs, Free Sean Payton signs etc. is nothing but fans venting. Humor.
This guy just wasted space and ink in his newspaper.

I don't know what you people are tripping about, this article is actually pretty great. I think in the long haul being hated by people like this for Bountygate is going to prove to be the best thing that's happened to this team in years. Now it's all out in the open in plain sight that a lot of people out there DON'T like New Orleans. So 'eff em.

I want the fan base and the team to have more of that rebellious "I don't give a ____" New Orleans attitude. That's the other side of New Orleans, like the Battle of New Orleans -- OK the war of 1812 is actually already over but we don't know that yet, we will still whip you anyway, because this is our house! Or when you see a Mardi Gras Indian coming through the street on Mardi Gras day, you just don't mess with him, you best get out the way. If you try and mess with him or tangle with his gang, he will mess you up, and look pretty doing it!
