You say that like I really give a damn about either candidate. Nader in 04!!!!!
Seriously, I\'ll take the lesser of two evils. Had Lieberman been the Democratic nominee, my vote would fall with the Democrats. But...well, this ain\'t politcal science.

Dr. Z is more into telling you his personal tales of interactions with players, because he\'s so in with the players, than he is about the game itself. He\'s overly cutesy with his reporting, which is a great way to hide a less-than-extraordinaire talent.

ESPN journalists > SI journalists.

If you\'re not a liberal at 18,you have no heart.
If you\'re still a liberal at 30, you have no brain.

Ah - but it\'s all about cotnext no. I\'m going to give you the names of a few very famous LIBERALS:

Washington
Jefferson
Adams
Franklin

The list goes on you know.

Say what you will about \"liberal\" thought, but no great invention or progress has ever come at the hand of a conservative. Conservatism is what got us into the Dark Ages... liberal thought got us out.

Can\'t wait to see the responses to this one.

So now we are all in to politics, I thought that was a different forum, oh well here goes anyway. Winston Churchill would have been nothing if it was\'nt for the US and the rest of those guys would be nothing, if it was\'nt for England. How the worm turns.

I really think it is amazing how this was spun into a political debate.

I await the next intellectual response.

As Mankind becomes more liberal, they will be more apt to allow that all those who conduct themselves as worthy members of the community are equally entitled to the protections of civil government. I hope ever to see America among the foremost nations of justice and liberality.

Today liberalism stands for entitlement. The current strand of liberalism in our society cannot be compared to \"liberalism\" during the American Revolution. Do you really think that John Kerry would have taken up arms against the British, Whodat?

Churchill stood against the appeasement which so many \"liberals\" in Europe chose to use a deterent against Germany in the 1930\'s.

Don\'t throw out silly historical quotes and quasi-facts without any consideration of context. We all might look dumb.... but come on!

By the way, Paul Z. is still a maroon!

Well Whowatches, let\'s stick to the here and now.

If Bush and Co. are supposed to be \"conservatives\", what exactly are they conserving?
I wouldn\'t go for the characterization of liberalism as entitlement though.

Other than Prisco with sportsline I can\'t think of anyone who\'s in shouting distance of the good Dr. Z.

Pass the Jelly is a joke, Mort always likes everybody, I\'m pretty sure Peter King has never even seen a football game and Thiesmann has to have hurt more than just his leg. Banks is OK most of the time.

Hey BMG, I totally agree with the Theismann statement. I was watching a game he was covering the other night and he kept sticking his foot in his mouth BIGTIME! The other announcers put him in his place on several different occassions and I would have felt bad for him, but he kept doing it over and over again. What a moron.
