Front 7, without collapsing the pocket and pressure on a average qb. it makes all of them look like Brees. I want a true nose-tackle 1st then a thumper lb. on the inside. Followed by getting rid Jenkins and either Quaddus in or a veteran safety to teach Quaddus. I believe still with a little more time he would be great.

to be honest it does not matter who we take in the first round.... we have yet to take an impact player in the first round whom made drastic improvements to our team. For the most part the first round of the draft has been nothing more than a money waster and I doubt this is the year that changes.

I agree that we make terrible picks in the first round... HOWEVER, Cameron Jordan has been a terrific draft pick. He's been one of the highest rated run-stopping DE's and now that we're switching back to his more natural 3-4 scheme he's only going to flourish. We drafted him and made him a DE in our 4-3 and though he's been great, his 1st round pick status was based on playing in a 3-4 at Cal.

I always prefer BPA regardless if it was an OT, DT, S, LB, WR or whatnot.

As needy as we are in some areas, it sure seems like BPA in those positions makes more sense.

For me, to be more specific, I prefer BPA except at positions of strength. If the BPA is a QB in round 1, 3 and 4 I hope we're not stupid enough to draft 3 QB's.

I'd prefer a DL followed by a LB, but there's a strong argument to make for a OT if the right guy is available.

Secondary to me is just that, secondary... although Amerson would be a nice pick up.

But it all depends so much on what the Saints do in free agency that it seems almost pointless to debate about the potential draft picks at this point in time.

What are we gonna argue about after the draft? Oh yeah, the picks we made.

Yes Jordan has found his way, but Wilson has not..... This switch is much less for Jordan ( who should have no problem switching to 3-4 and still being as dominant) as it is for Wilson who had no place in the zone scheme because he doesn't weigh enough to come in and stop the run, nor should he be asked to as a DE, in the 3-4 he should move back to a more natural OLB position and get on the field more thus putting him in position to make plays something IMO he has shown he can do.... The DE that covers wilson side is gonna have to be a massive and shifty.... DE is probably gonna be your pick in the first...... And if it were me it wouldn't be at 15 unless you got a shot at Dion Jordan, or Jesse Williams of Alabama.....
