That the saints would go after T-Buc or Jason Gildon? I think with the way Haz knows Gildon he could be helpful. T-Buc could step in and be the second or third corner over Ambrose. Dont think it would hurt anything

I thought the Gildon cut today was interesting and Haz maybe interested, but that would mean we would have to let Bockwoldt go and I think Bockwoldt has alot more upside than Gildon.

It\'s a weak possibility for Buckley, but not as much for Gildon. Haslett\'s season theme this year is youth. That\'s why he cut Darrin Smith, Lamar Smith, and Jerry Fontenot; he wants to make room for younger, more potential-laced players like Ki-Jana Carter and Colby Bockwaldt at the expense of over-the-hill veterans.

Gildon has been in the league for 10 years, and he was listed as a 3rd string LB on the Bills\' depth chart. He can still play well, but I\'m betting that some teams will be after him. There are many teams in need of LB\'s, namely us, Cleveland, Jacksonville, Green Bay, and Kansas City. The problem with Gildon himself is that he\'s 32, so Haslett probably won\'t go after him. He\'s too obsessed with James Allen and Sedrick Hodge.

Terrell Buckley is a 12 year veteran. Like Gildon, he\'s pretty old (33). And like Allen and Hodge, Haslett is too obsessed with young Fakhir Brown to let a veteran get in his way.

Dont know exactly how you call Carter a young potential laden player. Buckley is a 13 yr vet, but would step in a be at worst a number 3 option. I understand going with youth to an extent, but if you can improve the team and win now you have to. Hodge is out for 4 weeks, so Gildon could be used there.

I should\'ve cleared that up more. What I meant to say was that a younger player, like Carter, has more potential than an older player like Lamar Smith. My bad.

True, Gildon would be a great asset, and the Saints should definitely pursue him. The problem with him is that there could be a bit of competition for him with other teams with LB issues.

Once again, I agree with you. After seeing Craft and Ambrose in the preseason, his presence would definitely help. Unfourtunately, Haslett and I don\'t see eye to eye. He\'s probably going to overlook this one and stand pat with Craft at nickel-back and Brown at dime-back.

If I were Mickey Loomis, I\'d seriously take a look at both players.
