this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; The last year or two on the majority of contracts are BS. No one knows how long he has as a Saint. My guess is as long as we compensate him accordingly. If we low-ball him, he'll probably leave If ...

The last year or two on the majority of contracts are BS.
No one knows how long he has as a Saint. My guess is as long as we compensate him accordingly. If we low-ball him, he'll probably leave If he high-balls us, we'll let him walk. |

When Drew leave it will be on his own. Not sure if it will be as a Saint either. Not many people get a chance like Ray Lewis/ John Elway to walk away while on top after winning the big one. Thats how I'd like to see him go TBH.
However I have a feeling we will have moved on to the next franchise QB and some team will be needing a QB and Drew will do his best to help them. However I hope he can go out on top with us. |

He'll be with the Saints for 4 to 5 years and retire after that to pursue politics or something like that... to become the governor of Louisiana.

Judging from the degradation of his deep passes, he has two more effective years and then decline will be rapid with his altered/rebuilt shoulder...
