Well they'll stone you when you're in the locker room,
They'll stone you when you're watchin' all that film,
They'll stone you when you're cashin' that fat check,
They'll stone you when you tackle by the neck,
Badger need not feel so all alone,
Well, you can probably figure out the rest...

Well it does seem like there's some interest in him from the Saints:

Former LSU CB Tyrann Mathieu, Saints defensive coordinator Rob Ryan chat Tuesday at the NFL Scouting Combine

There's been much debate among Saints fans as to whether the Saints should pursue former LSU cornerback Tyrann Mathieu in April's NFL draft. It looks like the Saints had some interest in Mathieu on Tuesday.

"Sitting next to RobRyan ! He Is a cool and down to earth person! #1stclass," Mathieu said via Twitter on Tuesday afternoon.

Who knows what the conversation entailed, but the Saints could definitely use a playmaker in the secondary in their new 3-4 defensive scheme. Stay tuned ...

Why the New Orleans Saints should NOT draft Tyrann Mathieu

He's a nutcase
He hasn't played in a year
He's a me first type of guy
As soon as he make's a play he will be expecting a pay increase
I'm sick of having corners that are 5"8
Managed only 4 reps on bench press
We need to address the front 7 first
He's a nutcase......wait....already said that......

and any other reasons you can think of

I don't see us taking him in the 3rd round.........that's where I expect us to pick up the safety we need.

He won't be drafted. But, numerous teams will invite him to camp. That's probably more than the kid deserves, but hopefully he will take it as a positive and make the most of what could be his last chance at a life beyond jail or the graveyard.

Give him a chance, I wasn't a genius at 19 years of age. On the other hand, you only had to hit me in the head once, not multiple times before I paid attention. Maybe he will grow up before he ruins his life.

Dude is a GAME CHANGER. I would be happy as hell to get him. I think everyone is forgetting how much he domminated in the best league in the world in his second year. He could sit out three more years and still be an upgrade to the worst defense in NFL history. After saying that im going to my room to cry myself to sleep. good night.

The best college league in the world.... I know you boys love your SEC, but there's no way the best college team will stand up to the worst NFL team. This kid's been out of play for a year, done screwed the pooch, not once, not twice, but three times THAT WE KNOW OF. You can almost always add at least one "chance" to that number. Is he really a guy to anchor a defense to? Game changers have a bit more riding on them than other fellows on a team. He's not going to do us any good if he's out four games or so at a shot because he can't control his addiction. Lot of strong talent out there this year for us to spend our time, money and time on.
