What needs to happen?
 

What needs to happen for the saints to take it to the next level? What needs to happen for the Saints to move far into the playoffs? When will this ever happen? I believe for the past few years we have been close to solving the puzzel but for whatever reason have not been able to put it all together. I think consistency will be the key. I know we have a plethora of talent, except for areas such as LB.

Any intelligent input would be greatly appreciated(hint, Hint! coleh/dodge please don't give me any of your trade Brooks, Horn, M. Lewis, and Scrap Haz and promote Venturi because it is absurd and if I see this I think I might cry!)

I am optimistic about this year, but not overly so because if my hopes are too high they will have a long way to fall. I think the Saints will come out with intensity and beat the seahawks.

Great talent and no maturity, homie on the block ain\'t gonna cut it, players have to play for the money and stop grandstanding when they make one good play out of 20. Those are\'nt good odds in Vegas and definetly not good odds for the Saint\'s players this year.
I think the consistency in players will come together this year. but stop whining and play. It I got 2 or 4 million a year I would kick my wifes ass just to go to jail once every 6 months for that so why don\'t the players feel that way.

I don\'t think you have to worry about Dcholie anymore. either that or it was time for bed.

I think you answered your own question. For the Saints to take the next step the linebackers need to step up.

As of today, it is my opinion that we\'re still a CB, a LB (maybe 2), a DT, a G, and possibly an OT away from being a SB team. By the time we get those, we\'ll need a new SS. We\'re not far, but this will not be our year (though, I\'ve never thought it was - I think we\'re at least one year away, probably 2 knowing our front office).
