no way we go WR...... no way.... if we do..... well ya no its better we don't talk bout it... but that would be dumb to the fullest extent ..... WORST D IN HISTORY N GO WR 1st pick... no way pal !

Like Danno pointed out - if we shore up a few more positions in FA I wouldn't hate them for going with who could be the most dynamic offensive player in this years draft.

While I like all three players(I love Tavon Austin), if this is our future and considered an awesome reload, I think we'd be in trouble. Realistically, you may have a #3 receiver in Morgan, a 4 in Toon, and a really good slot guy with Austin. I might be generous here too.

Lots of WR's in the draft... while Austin is a fun and exciting player to have, I think we should look in a different direction.

Even if we shore up a few more positions, this is the worst D in league history...... EVERY PICK Besides Terron Armstead in the third :wink: :wink: should be a defensive selection, including the one or two extra picks we get for trading down :wink: :wink:

WAS the worst defense... And can we throw out 2012, once and for all?

How are they already better you ask? Here are my reasons in chronological order:

Payton returns
Switch 3-4 announced (better suited)
Ryan signed
Re-signed key veterans of the Saints system (#somethingtoprove)
New CB with skills, upside
Depth coming via FA and draft

It's never a good idea to count on rookie draft picks to impact your defense.

So, let's see what unfolds before the draft. We may actually be celebrating a 1st round pick on OFFENSE :birthday:

That was not the worst defence ever.The last time looked yards don't loose games,points do.

Yeah, but who cares about the Colts? For your sake let's change it to a defense that was record breaking in its badness, or a defense that received more laughs than last season's Big Bang Theory, or... Look, it's left a really bad taste in many of our mouths around here and that's the kind of thing that doesn't go away by us keeping our mouths shut.
