I'm not bashing people, I'm bashing their opinions because in my opinion their opinion is wrong.

And its also my opinion that thinking every player on a bad team sucks is an extremely shortsighted opinion.

Its my opinion that you probably missed the part where I said "thats extremely shortshighted" instead of "you're extremely shortsighted".

i really think albert wants out and knows he is not really wanted anyways.

price is a bit step in trade price.

then again if he comes here and goes for a really cap friendly price then you would have pause.

he could sign a one or two year deal just to get out.

or the trade could involve similar cap carrying players. Harper? comes to mind. no i am not ready trade him because i have no idea if we have anyone to really replace him for the entire season. do they need a SS anyways?

I really think that the best solution at this point and with the cap restrictions the Saints have would be to pick an OT with LT capability from the draft somewhere around the 4th or 5th round and then just try to manage with the current guys on the roster and developing that draft pick for future starting role or injury relief duty (i.e. Brown relief duty).

It might not sound all that comforting, but Brees has to find away to work around this issue with his fat wallet.

The problem with that is that Harper's prorated signing bonus would still stay with the Saints even after the trade, as was explained to me by Danno earlier.

Congrats man!

That was pure gold and worthy of accompanying Mr. Wilson's quote on a sig. ;-)

maybe ivory and a 4th I would be reluctant to trade INgram in this situation. I would rather have a nose tackle and pick for Ingram.

yes straight up trade sure. there are ways to redo anything and there is also eating the money and use it to devalue picks in the trade.

there is always a way

It would make no sense to get Albert, for what the Chiefs will want. Why sign an average tackle who will want more money soon enough, and lose all kinds of picks, when you can just draft a tackle in the first (though I'd much prefer defense at 15) and still have your other picks. We're better off signing Bryant Mckinnie for a year.

They're asking for to much, I hope the saints don't let them make a fool out them with that offer that's asking too much.

Fin that's it! Brees could use his wallet as a LT! Or maybe we dont need a LT because the wallet can provide all that padding if he gets hit.
