If we had a 2nd rounder and we don't pick an OT in the first, then he'd be a solid choice. He would be a massive reach at #15, though. It would most likely be Lane Johnson if we pick a tackle first. I'm really not that high on any of the tackles who will be available when we pick, to be honest. But Johnson seems to be the best of them.

I still like Ansah and Vaccaro, if either of them drops to us. I doubt we'll have a shot at Jarvis Jones, otherwise I'd put him in there too.

This is nuts. JJ is a jackass.

Cowboys’ 2009 draft class is no more | ProFootballTalk
Maybe Cowboys owner Jerry Jones should have fired Cowboys G.M. Jerry Jones, after all.

According to Calvin Watkins of ESPNDallas.com, the departure of linebacker Victor Butler closes the books on the team’s 2009 draft class.

All 12 players taken that year by Jones the G.M. are now gone. The draft yielded no starters, and only six made it onto the 53-man roster.

Watkins has the full list of selections. A couple of names will be familiar. Most won’t.

The only good news for the Cowboys is that they wouldn’t have had the cap space this year to re-sign any of them, anyway.

2009 has been a pretty good year for us so far...

I predict Butler to have 12 sacks.

I've personally always been more of a bump & grind kind of a player! ;-)

We won't have a shot at Ansah. Vaccaro should be there at 15, unless someone with a need at safety decides to trade up before our pick. However, everything that I've heard on Jarvis Jones is that his name is sliding. Unless your like me and value production, and of course what the tape showed you, then he would be a steal of a pick at 15 or lower. He sliding because of a bad pro day. But I don't need Jones to run a 4.4 40-yard dash on the field, all he needs to do is get to the quarter back. It looks like he did that more than enough in his college career.

Being that Butler is in the fold now I'm not sure the Saints would make him a priority pick in the first round. But if we were to trade down and he was there, it would be hard not to take him.

Honestly, a part of me would love to see the Saints take Tavon Austin with that pick at 15. I know we don't have a true need for another playmaker. But with all of the weapons we do have, he would make us even more difficult to defend.

True, Austin would make the offense just that more dangerous, but I do hope they pick a defensive player with the 1st rounder if not an OT.
