With all the defensive signings in free agency, IMO they draft an offensive player

I could see that, if its an OT. I think I'd seriously blow a gasket if they take a skill position at 15 though. I know they preach BPA constantly but there are still needs on defense and I would much rather see them trade back and take the next highest rated defensive player. Our offense already gained a huge advantage this offseason, his name is Sean Payton

And if trading back is not an option...? I think you go with the highest graded player on your list.

Only one though.

If they don't trade down and keep the 15 spot, IMO they draft a skill player like a Tavon Austin. Drafting a OT at that point would be a total waste of that pick simply bc there's no OT worthy of that pick. The 3 that are will already be gone according to every mock draft that I've seen, now if one of them just so happens to fall to that spot then it's an OT, this is my opinion ONLY for what it's worth. They have been known to pick the best available and if its an offensive player then that's what it is.

Well sure, if you're handcuffed to the pick. Even still, I'd probably rather see them reach a little for either an OT or defensive player than take a WR. I know Tavon Austin is all the rage, but I personally had never heard of him before the combine, and I worry that he's a workout warrior more than a baller. Now let me say for the record that I haven't looked too much into his college stats, so maybe I'm way wrong here.. then there's Patterson from Tennessee..and I think we all know about WR's from Tennessee.

Anyway its only my opinion, and I'm sure that they'll probably end up picking someone that'll leave us all scratching our heads. In all my years as a saints fan I can count on one hand the number of times they've picked someone in the first couple of rounds that I actually wanted to see them take. I'm sure a lot of you know exactly where I'm coming from on that one.

Really never herd of him, this guy is a WR from West Virginia and a very good one. Projected to be a slot guy but can also can be used out of the backfield. You must not watch very much college football to not have herd of him, no offense.

None taken... And no, I really don't. Not that I don't want to, but I work all day every Saturday, so I just don't get the chance.

Well, all I can say is that I hope they don't blow it again this year. Especially if they're unable to trade back for more picks. Just make it count

He was fun to watch last year. Plus he's used to playing for a team with no defense. Just sayin'...
