Curious to see if Rufus can play an OLB spot at his size; I think he's more of a 43 DE, but we'll see... And we also signed two polished ILB via UDFA in Kevin Reddick (Solid Pedigree) and Eric Martin (Great Motor)... There's also Chamberlain, coming off a lost season to injury, but was a Spagnuolo signing and may move on to a 43 defense team... |

Why do I get the feeling that we're going to bounce Martez around at different positions every year and we'll never see his true potential? That's why I'm really hoping he excels this year as the Sam and we have a badass to be proud of for years to come!

The only players not better (on paper) are Smith, Vilma and Lofton. And it remains to be seen if they actually play worse in our version of the 3-4. Who knows... they may even play better. |
